CFL bulbs and the annoying flicker

The electronics inside compact flourescent (CFL) bulbs make it difficult to use these bulbs throughout the entire house. We've tried using them in ceiling fans with remote controls, but because of interference the bulbs constantly flickered. The same thing happened when trying to use an electric eye adapter to turn on lights at night.
